The story of Kai

Darlings, if you have never been to the Spa at Bluebird, you most definitely have to rush to this fabulous place. If you have been, then you have seen the exclusive Kai beauty products displayed there. I decided to tell you more about the story behind Kai:

Kai is a gorgeous fragrance based on white flowers with dominance of gardenia, fresh and very natural. Its creator Gaye Straza Rappaport developed the Kai fragrance after spending her youth vacationing in the tropics. Pink October in Monaco

Darlings, this is the exact example how to join luxury and charity in one fabulous cause. This October, like nearly 40 countries around the world, Monaco will turn pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In collaboration with the charity ‘Pink Ribbon Monaco’ and in celebration of a new breast cancer screening center in the Principality of Monaco, Hôtel Métropole will show its support with a ‘Pink October’ theme running throughout the hotel from 02 to 31 October 2012.

Besides pink lighting and other pink touches of the interior, the bar manager, Mickaël Bellec, has created the ‘Rose Passion Cocktail’: a cognac-based mix infused with Madagascar vanilla, white cocoa, a wild strawberry liqueur and dairy cream. The cocktail will be served in a pink shaker with strawberry candy. In addition, the head pastry cook, Satomi Kanai, has designed a desert called ‘Pink’ made up of egg white, hibiscus jelly and a yuzu sauce.

Luckily, LadyC theme colour already is Pink, so I am proudly participating in Breast Cancer Awareness month as well. And, without a doubt, will be having a Rose Passion Cocktail soon when back in Monaco.

The 3 days of physical and mental invigoration incorporate the natural setting of the new forest and the luxury of Herb House spa.

There is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach but far more a personalised bespoke approach appreciating that every woman’s health and fitness needs are different.  Following the pre-consultation the team will devise a carefully scripted fitness programme to suit my individual needs. 

The key elements of any fitness programme should focus on cardio respiratory fitness; structural strength and body conditioning; nutrition and rest and recovery.  These key components will be incorporated into each tailor-made fitness programme during Forest Fit. The first Forest Fit boot camp is from Sunday 14^th – Wednesday 17^th October and next is Sunday 18^th – Wednesday 21^st November.
